Compare supermarket beer and cider prices

Search the public listings and compare regular prices, loyalty prices and advertised offers. Pack sizes and prices come from each retailer's listing. Open a product to see the same pack at every supermarket that sells it, then check its live price and eligibility before buying.

Latest listing checked 17 Oct 2026, 13:17.

Prices are each supermarket's default online listing without a delivery address (Aldi's are the in-store prices it publishes, as it doesn't sell beer online), so they may vary by location and delivery method. Minimum unit pricing applies in Scotland and Wales, and multibuy offers are not available in Scotland.

How this comparison works

We check the beer and cider ranges at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose and Aldi about once a day and put them side by side, so you can see who is cheapest before you shop. Each listing shows the shelf price, any Clubcard or Nectar price the supermarket shows, any multibuy offer, and the price per litre, so a four-pack and a crate can be compared fairly.

When more than one supermarket sells the same drink in the same pack, open it to see every price together, cheapest first. We only treat two listings as the same when the name, the pack size and, where the listing says, the can or bottle all match, so a four-pack of cans is never compared with a four-pack of bottles.

Every “Check at” button goes straight to the supermarket's own page, where the live price is the one that counts. We don't earn anything from those links, and no supermarket pays to be listed or to appear higher up.

Common questions

Which supermarket has the cheapest beer?

It changes from week to week and from one beer to the next, which is why this page compares them rather than naming one. Sort by price per litre to see the cheapest listing when we last checked, or open a drink to see the same pack at every supermarket that sells it.

How often are supermarket beer prices updated?

We check the beer and cider range at each supermarket about once a day. Every page shows the date of its latest check, and the supermarket's own page always has the final price.

What does price per litre mean?

It is the pack price divided by the total volume in the pack, so a four-pack of cans and a crate of bottles can be compared fairly. A lower price per litre means more beer for your money, whatever the pack size.

Do the prices include Clubcard and Nectar prices?

Yes, where the supermarket shows one. Tesco Clubcard and Sainsbury's Nectar prices appear beside the shelf price, and ticking a card you hold uses its price in the list and the sorting. Asda Rewards is credit to spend later rather than a lower price, so it is never shown as a price.

Are these prices the same in Scotland and Wales?

Not always. Scotland and Wales set a minimum price per unit of alcohol, and multibuy offers on alcohol are not available in Scotland, so some prices and offers here will not apply there. The Scotland and Wales setting on this page hides or marks them.

Does UK Beer Deals earn money from supermarket links?

No. Every “Check at” button goes straight to the supermarket's own page. We earn nothing from those links, and no supermarket pays to be listed or to appear higher up.
