Horsforth started in a garage in 2017 and are still driven by the same idea that got them there: make beer worth drinking, for people worth knowing. Founder Mark Costello keeps it independent in Horsforth, Leeds, with a taproom on New Road Side and a second venue now open in Ilkley.
Horsforth Brewery cover a lot of ground: pale ales, IPAs, sours, porters, non-alcoholic and gluten-free beers all feature in their shop. Among the cans on offer: El Cal, a 4% Mexican-style pale in a 440ml tin; Trinity, a 4.2% American pale; and House Trousers, a 4.4% Citra pale ale. It's a shop built around variety across styles rather than one signature beer.
